I am not a big collector but I’m always keeping an eye out for special vintage cottage decor finds, or pieces that are handmade or one-of-a-kind. Anything that can tell a story and give our home that collected feeling that I love.
The minute I saw this vintage blue and white swan planter (from this shop on Etsy) I knew it would be perfect touch for our shelves, or really anywhere.
People often ask me where I find accessories like this. My favorite is when I stumble upon an unexpected find in local thrift and secondhand stores, but I also shop online. It especially feels good to support small businesses.
I try to find pieces that are versatile, like this swan, that I know will work in a few places around our home.
