It’s crafting season, and I can’t help myself. I have a million other things I should be doing, and for some reason, making something lovely creates a sense of calm amid the chaos for me. And creating a warm and inviting home has always been the ultimate escape. We’ve slowly been decking the halls around our home in between projects and kiddo stuff… and last weekend my middle and I decided to make something special for her space: Colorful Confetti Ornaments!

These are so bright and fun on her tree, and make great gift toppers, too! These are quick, easy to make, and would make a great party or gathering kind of craft for friends and family over the holidays. The possibilities really are endless!

Want to make some for yourself? Here’s what you’ll need: {Want the full list? Get it here!}
{I gathered a lot of this from around my house + some of these are affiliate links, so thank you for understanding!}
• Iridescent Ornaments
• Confetti
• Needle Felting Wool – I wanted each one to have its own color, and this is a great way to establish that.
• Stars {because holidaisical}
• Glitter – like this + this
• Ribbon for hanging

This process is so simple, it goes like this. Grab an ornament, and remove the top. Choose the base color you want. This really helped serve as a great filler, so that I could built off of that. I used about half of each wool packet, and fluffed each piece as needed. I also put it into the ornament in sections, so that it stayed fluffed inside.

Place it inside the ornament.

Next, add the confetti + glitter as needed, and shake it all around.

Place thet op on, and you’re good to go! Add ribbon and hang. Tada! It’s a little ball of happy for anyone this holiday season.

This is such a perfect little rainy day activity while you watch a movie or two. They’re literally done in mass production in just a few minutes, and would make the perfect party activity, too.

Aren’t these just the prettiest? As always, let us know if you give these a try. We’d love to hear. Have an inspired day!
