As I write this, it appears we have been fooled by our first fake spring. I sat outside in the sun for thirty whole minutes yesterday on my lunch break, and it was absolutely glorious. But alas, since I know it will be cold again, I’m covering all things cold-weather vibes! When we moved to Tennessee ten years ago, the cold, rainy winter was absolutely paralyzing to me. As in, I didn’t quite know how to make it through the cold months. We were only one state up, four hours away from the tropics of South Alabama, but even the bugs were different in our new location, and it was the tiny nuances that kind of blew our minds. So, those cold, wet winters were a lot to adjust to. Ten years later, and it’s gotten a little better. Mainly because I’ve learned to surrender and accept it for what it is, embracing the slower months as an opportunity to embrace rest and comfort. I’ve talked about Hygge before, and I can guarantee I’m still saying it wrong, but there’s something about the culture of creating comfort and embracing it all at the same time. Today, I decided to round up a few things that get us through the colder months: Embracing Hygge with Lowes.

So without further ado, here are a few of our faves, available in our storefront today! From cafe lights for warmth, to fluffy pillows, indoor s’mores makers and fun games to try along with epic movie nights… these are a few things that just may warm up your world. We hope you find something fun! And that, in the meantime, you’re staying warm. {Some of these may contain affiliate links!}
