A penthouse overlooking the East River at the newly-built One Domino Square has sold for $7 million, setting a new Brooklyn record for price per square foot.

Developed by Brooklyn-based firm Two Trees Management Company, Penthouse 3A closed in late February for $3,313 per square foot — the highest price ever recorded for a residential sale in the borough, according to the developer.

Located beside Domino Park along the East River in Williamsburg, the residence spans about 2,113 square feet of interior space with nearly 1,000 square feet of outdoor terraces. The half-floor penthouse includes a spiral staircase leading to a private rooftop terrace with views of the Brooklyn waterfront and the Manhattan skyline.

The unit was also delivered fully furnished in collaboration with the Irish design brand Orior, offering what the developer described as a turnkey home.

“This record-breaking closing solidifies One Domino Square’s position as a market leader,” Jed Walentas, CEO of Two Trees Management, said in a statement.

He pointed to the project’s location within the redeveloped Domino waterfront as a major draw.

“The unique combination of quality and location within this vibrant mixed-use waterfront neighborhood makes this address especially appealing to buyers,” Walentas continued.

The company said sales momentum has been strong since the launch in June 2024. The condominium tower is now more than two-thirds sold, with nearly $300 million in total sales so far, according to Two Trees.

Another penthouse in the building previously had set neighborhood records. In 2025, Penthouse 1A sold for $7.75 million, marking the highest sponsor sale ever recorded in Williamsburg and neighboring Greenpoint.

Annabelle Selldorf of Selldorf Architects designed the project. One Domino Square features 398 rental apartments and 160 condominiums, and offers about 45,000 square feet of amenities, including indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a spa, resident lounges, a children’s playroom and a private dining space.

Aaron Goed, Two Trees’ sales director, said that these are all high points, adding that “Buyers are responding to the building’s thoughtful design, expansive amenity offering and the rare opportunity to live directly alongside Domino Park and the river.”

Despite the record-setting sale, a handful of units remain available in the building’s condominium tower. One listing currently on the market is a three-bedroom duplex penthouse priced at $5.95 million.

One Domino Square is part of Two Trees’ massive redevelopment of the Domino Sugar refinery site, which includes Domino Park, residential buildings 325 Kent and One South First, and the redeveloped sugar refinery itself. The recently-approved rezoning of Domino Site B set the stage for the completion of the developer’s “Domino Sugar Master Plan.”
