I momentarily lost my mind and purged our entire house this fall. {Most of it, anyway… stay tuned.} January shouldn’t be a time to dive back in with goals and resolutions. I am absolutely done with killing myself each year. I think it should be a time for rest and gentle planning. But because it is the new year and you may be looking for a little inspiration, I thought it would be the perfect time to share some of our favorite organization finds.

I’ll start by saying that I actually get a little aggravated when people endlessly share containers, as if containers are the solution to everything. Every home and need is different. For instance, I don’t really need toy storage anymore, but other people probably do. So today’s round-up is pretty minimal, with only things that I am already using or plan to use in the next few months: 25 organization finds that are actually worth it.
{Some of these contain affiliate links for which I receive a small compensation. This is so I can continue to source some fun elements for our readers. Thank you for understanding.}

1. Hamper – Our kids have been doing their own laundry for a few years now, and it’s been amazing. 1. I think it prepares them for college and 2. Do I need to list the other reasons here? I also have to remind them to actually fold it every now and again because teenagers. So I find these hampers really useful for hauling their stuff around the house. They also come in various colors, so each kiddo knows which one is theirs. We used some in our cabana closet as well to store all our extra floats. Simple but useful.
2. Mail holders – These acrylic holders are simple, and you can choose which screw you want to use to mount them. Because I’m done letting everything sit on our counter for months on end.
3. Hat Rack – I have two of these in my own closet to hold bags, hats and so much more. And we even included one in our oldest’s dorm this fall. Be sure to check out the entire space here!

4. Shoe Organizers – These create their own double stack, and I’m adding them to my closet for more space.
5. Recycling Bins – We have a larger one outside, but I love these smaller ones for organization in the house.
6. Stackable organizers – These double as drawers and are perfect for closet storage on the bottom if you’re short on space.
7. Bag holder – I always need something for my grocery bags, since we recyle and reuse. This is the perfect item. Available in multiple patterns.
8. Under Cabinet Organizer – This one makes for great organization space under our kitchen sink. {similar}
9. Open Front Storage Bins – these bins are perfect for potatoes, onions, and more when it comes to storage in your pantry or fridge.
10. Bed Sheet Organizers – Can’t fold a fitted sheet? Me either. But these boxes help in my upstairs closet and since it doesn’t really matter… consider this an organized cheaters guide.
11. Tall Shelf – I guess maybe college is still on the brain, because these narrow shelves seem perfect for tight spaces and I’m saving this one. Maybe for a bedside table in a dorm or one for each side of a desk at home… I love that they’re available in multiple colors.
12. Drawer Organizers – I use these in my office, bathroom, kitchen… and just about anywhere I need dividers for those smaller things. Super easy and perfect for corralling. Check out how to make a giant erase board here while we’re on the subject of organization… {and just for fun… this before and after…}

13. Under Cabinet Organizers – These add storage for underneath all those spaces, and help expand that storage. {Similar}
14. Fridge Organizer – Because this one’s about to get a serious overhaul.
15. Cord Holders – I have now distributed these to everyone in my family, where applicable. I’ve tried about three different solutions now for a charging station and it’s the only thing that has ever worked for me. I stick three of these to the side of my nightstand {below my bed where you can’t see when entering the room} and they hold my watch charger, phone cord + airpod charger. I use them every day.
16. Water Bottle Holder – Not sure how we survived being so severely dehydrated for all those years, but this is the only solution for a family of water consumers.
17. Pot Holders – for all that wasted under cabinet space. Similar find here.
18. Photo storage box—We can’t live without containers to hold all the supplies in our house. These serve multiple purposes and work great.
19. Stackable Storage – These bins are perfect for everything from toys to dorms. Check them out here.
20. Rolling Cart—I own three of these. They hold laundry, school supplies, and paint supplies, and they’re clearly needed at our house. Perfect to move easily from one space to the next.
21. Label Maker—I think this will make everything so much easier. It’s kind of like a small reward for all the organization I still need to do in my kitchen. The nerd in me couldn’t resist.
22. Peg Board—I am currently sourcing ideas for a client’s shared closet and stumbled across this one. He plans to use a large one for tees, and I thought it was a smart way to hang things quickly by their tags.
23. Hangers—A few years ago, I finally evicted all my fancy wooden ones and opted for these. They’re a game-changer. Our oldest took some to college, too.
24. Belt Hanger – or scarves or whatever you like. My boys need this for their shared closet.
25. Drawer Dividers – Perfect for your kitchen or clothes – I love the way these can be stacked or used in different shapes to provide storage.
Pssst… check out the entire board here!
And that’s the 25 things we’d recommend actually using this new year. What are some of your favorite organization finds? We’d love to hear. Have an inspired day!
