You may know that we’ve been working on some exciting things behind the scenes in project land, and today I thought I’d pop in to tell you about another one! This project will be called The Lundy Pass House, phase 1.
The further we get into this project, the more you’ll see that this one in particular is going to be a great testament to two things: 1. Creating a haven for yourself first, {before you dive into the rest} and, since phase two will contain, in some way, every other room in the house, 2. Not everything has to be ripped out entirely. While some of this is all fresh, some of it is what I like to call a fresh take. And we can’t wait to dive in! I mean, technically we already have.
I’m trying to share more of these projects as we go along, before doing a gigantic photo dump in the end and being all, TADA! And since today starts with phase 1: here we are with their primary suite. This includes their bedroom and bath, along with an entirely new closet redo.
Their home is already a lovely retreat… they definitely felt it was time to add some elements that are more them, along with some fun details.

The carpets will be changed out with white oak planks, and the room will be color-saturated with trim to accentuate those walls. I thought that their existing headboard and nightstands were certainly something to build on, so we’re using that as a nice base. Fresh curtains with sheers for added privacy while filtering in the sunlight will be taken all the way to the ceiling. The bedding and rug are a great way to reinforce the color schemes, and add a lot of coziness to their retreat. Since their bed doesn’t have a footboard, we adore this idea of adding a bench at the end. Vintage art will tie it all together with this beautiful color scheme. {Ps, Kichler to the rescue again!} And on the other side of the room…
{That image on the far right needs to be sourced, and I have lost it. If anyone knows where, please alert me so I can link it? I believe it’s a trim company.}

We’re building a fireplace with tons of storage. Yes, it’s a throwback design similar to our own fireplace, and we love the way it’s all coming together. This will also hold their TV, while making the space nice and cozy. The tile you can see in the design board above, is how we’ll be finishing this one off!

And all the way to their bathroom: This sweet couple was ready for a change, with a more practical vanity space, and better layout for their over all use. {Read: They are definitely ready to update their shell sinks and boob lights.}

Here’s our proposed image…
And a little progress, too!

Moving the window isn’t always practical, due to the unpainted, original brick on the outside. But a new one for privacy is. Once the vanity is back in place, along with their shower, the window being slightly off center will look more intentional. This just made the most sense for the layout, and we love the way this beautiful tilework turned out.
Here are a few more of the design elements, along with wallpaper and shelving that will go in their toilet space.

This is a sneak peek of the gorgeous countertop they’ve chosen: Matarazzo Quartzite! This photo doesn’t do it justice either. Just trust me when I say it’s Perfect.
These are some quick shots I took of the job during our site visit today! It’s so fun when all the little details start to come together. We can’t wait to show you the way this all turns out, as well as the next phase!

As always, let us know if you have any questions. Have an inspired day!
