kids spaces: our favorite designs

A sweet reader Allison wrote in and said, “…I absolutely love the way you do children’s spaces. I’m kind of new here, and found you recently. I was wondering if you wouldn’t mind sharing some of the kids rooms you’ve designed over the years?…”

We’re sharing some of our very favorites today, from our own, to our clients’. I’m currently in the middle of designing a few kiddos’ spaces that we have coming up, and I’ll have to add it to the list when we’re finito. So without further ado… here are a few of our favorite kids’ spaces!

This converted garage living space really serves their family well.

{This is the before}

This space is a personal one for us… and was so fun in the beginning, as a sleeping room + then it evolved into a shared sibling space {we have tips on that whole thing, here}.

THEN, it’s a long story, if you want to check it out here, it became our youngests’ space. This room has seen some serious changes. Here it is with the ultimate before.

And our oldest’s room is on the other side of this closet, here.
We love that the colors that have grown with him.

This one was a bit of a hybrid mix, but we did love piecing it together for the whole family… it’s definitely kiddo friendly.

And if we’re counting hybrid mixes, The Ronald Mcdonald House was for an amazing cause. We are still so grateful we were able to participate in this amazing project!

This one is a big throwback, but still a classic, functional fave: Our homeschool room can be found here + shop the space here.

This bathroom for siblings + their home library, too.

We loved building this loft area for our boys when they were younger. One of our favorite memories.

Speaking of bunks… This bunk room for the beach house project, their fun shared kids bath, + this space, too.
Check out the entire tour with that link.

This throwback to our own daughter’s old room – we think the funny girl poster may be making a comeback, soon.

Happy to report that it did… and she begged us for that chandelier, so we purchased another when we moved, too.

And of course, we couldn’t help but include our handmade hideaway.

This little workspace for kids… because sometimes it’s in the little things.
